My Top 3 Starbucks Drinks
Who doesn't love coffee? I've only met a handful of people in my life who don't drink coffee. My husband used to be one of those people but I converted him! I don't understand how people get through the day without having caffeine. With that being said I could probably cut down my caffeine intake but that's a post for another day. I wouldn't come near me whenever I choose to do that. Luckily I don't plan on cutting back until I get pregnant again. I think one large cup versus multiple cups a day is what the OB-GYN meant when they sent out that pamphlet.
I love all things coffee! Coffee mugs, coffee flavored ice cream and especially coffee scented candles! Oh I just love it so much. It's like a hug in a cup (whoever said this is a genius). Attach the word coffee to a product and I'm sold. Those coffee facial scrubs or face masks, I'm totally in. I actually just did one the other day from target and it was so fun!
My typical go to coffee drink orders at Starbucks can range quite a bit but here are my top 3 drinks!
The first one is a Grande Cloud Caramel Macchiato. You may chose to do this iced or hot, both are delicious! I always get mine with skim milk. The barista likes to remind me every single time that it will change the consistency of the foam but I truly don't notice a difference. My belly prefers the skim over any other kind, if you know what I mean. I like the texture of the cloud better than the regular macchiato but both are good!
The next drink I like to order is a Grande Vanilla Chai Latte. I personally haven't ordered this iced but the hot version is so tasty! I also get this drink with skim milk like I do the macchiato. I typically like this drink in the afternoon when I've already had coffee at home. This is my little pick me up.
The last drink I typically order when I don't want to burn too many calories on a coffee. It is a Grande Nonfat Cinnamon Dolce Latte. This drink is so delicious and it only has like 100 calories in it. That is a huge win in my book! Pretty much any coffee I order out is over 200 calories so this is a big deal for me. You can easily add a shot of espresso to it as well.
I'm guilty of not really watching what I eat in general so drinking these coffees isn't a big deal on a normal basis but it's nice to know that there is a less calorie option out there if you are. Someone once said summer bodies are made in winter but I like to be cozy in the winter so I'm definitely not ready to put on a bathing suit. I'm think I found this drink on Pinterest somewhere but you can always find good options to make at home too if you're into that!
