Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches
Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches ✨
It’s been full on girl mode over here since daddy left for another business trip last night. Yesterday I gave Ellie a mani pedi as requested, and then did my own nails. I absolutely love having a gel kit to do my nails at home. I have about 10 other things I need to get a babysitter for before it would be to get my nails done.
We've been battling runny noses and coughs for the last week over here. RSV is no fun. We've been getting no sleep and it's wearing on us. Thankfully I think we are on the mend. We've finally been back sleeping through the night the last two nights and *fingers-crossed* it stays that way! This was way worse than having a newborn.
So needless to say, we needed a little pick me up! This is such an easy and delicious treat that your kiddos can help with making! Lately I've been buying the ingredients to keep around the house for whenever we need a little happiness. Check out the recipe below.
Homemade Ice Cream Sandwiches
Ingredients:
- 2 individual cups of flavored greek yogurt
- 1 container of Cool Whip Lite dessert
- 1 package of graham crackers
Mix together the containers of greek yogurt. Slowly fold in the cool whip lite dessert. Place the ice cream between two graham crackers. Let sandwiches set in freezer for 4 hours or so.
You can choose any flavor of greek yogurt you would like. Our favorites are strawberry and raspberry! You can also place these in a container once frozen to keep over a few days! Ours never last more than a couple days because they are so delicious!
Comment below so of your favorite flavors of ice cream sandwiches you try!
